Not spent everything can mean just riding at 99% and just keeping the
effort within your lactic threshold. He won by 8 seconds, he had an aero
helmet and bike change, he could change on the skis on his road bike.
Contador had mechanical gruppo and an aero road helmet but not a TT helmet.
Sky deal with marginal gains and I think stage 17 was a fine example of
that scientific approach working.
Couldn’t agree more.
We heard tons of texts like that, about Lance too 🙂
So he did not “spend” everything today… Why people have to complain about
somebody that gives just his 50% to kick everyone else’s ass. Off course he
is not doped…
